Bread to Feeds Our Souls: A Lenten Study of Scripture and Song

Each week of Lent, we will look at stories in the Bible that speak to the idea of “bread” as related to Jesus Christ. Beginning his first night in a feeding trough, Jesus is the bread that feeds our souls—even as the Resurrected Christ is known in the breaking of the bread at a
home in Emmaus. Each session will connect scriptures and images to our favorite Communion songs! Join Rev. Jenn and some of our church musicians for a fun study with discussion, images, and song—and maybe even a recipe or two!

To register, contact the church office (618) 344-2526, for the Zoom information.

(session dates: February 23, March 2, 9, 16, and 23. The sessions “build” on each other, but you can participate in one or all, and there is no preparation or homework!)
